Theological Consultant for USCCB sub-committees

Rick served as theological consultant for the USCCB sub-committee on marriage and family (2002) and the sub-committee on lay ministry (2003).

USCCB delegate to the U.S. United Methodist-Roman Catholic
Ecumenical Dialogue, 2001-2005 

He  served on the Catholic delegation of this national ecumenical dialogue as a theologian appointed by the USCCB (United States Conference of Catholic Bishops).
